How to Build Author Rank with Content Marketing

Author rank is one of the very important feature for all the authors creating content marketing strategies and writing content online on blogs & websites. These days Google is giving preference to it so it has become a way to dominate search results by providing quality content. Previously it was called Agent rank, Basically it is a measure of authority of authors over the internet based on content written by them, and that author quality is going to increase the search rankings of their website in search results.
This is what Google explained in their patent form about Agent Rank
“The name of the writer can be used to influence the ranking of web search results by indicating the writer responsible for a particular content piece … Assuming that a given writer has a high reputation score, representing an established reputation for authoring valuable content, then additional content authored and signed by that writer will be promoted relative to unsigned content or content from less reputable writers in search results.”

To be more precise, Authors with a good authority or we can say reputation in a given niche will be favored over the others and rankings for content written by them is going to be high.
